Excited to see the climbing frame out this week, the children eagerly waited their turn to have a go. Climbing boosts physical skills, helps build confidence, increase problem solving skills, and encourage risk taking, Children need to master all their body skills before they can sit still.
At the allotments the children were thrilled to play in the long grass and look for insects.
Using the area at the front of the hall was an ideal place for the children to use different toned train whistles that authentically replicates the sound of a steam locomotive. and, of course to dance and spin.
Indoor activities for the children included string painting, small world farm set, filling baskets with pasta, and ‘making ice cream cones’ using playdough.
